The needle in the haystack. The one you're after. It will be the oldest suit in your closet.

It is clearly dated May 23, 1921. Made in Chicago by M.

An absolute killer black three piece wool suit. Suit jacket: Single-breasted, three button suit, with high cut armholes. The one and only issue with the jacket is some damage to the collar/lapel.

It measures about 2.5" long, there is some damage to the fabric along the right side of the collar, at the "fold, where the collar piece joins with the front lapel of the jacket. Similar to the location that "ring around the collar" happens. Please see photo for more information. It is not noticable while wearing. The jacket has a "cut-away" type appearance, with the bottom of the jacket, starting at the lowest bottom, gently sloping out toward the arms. The breast pocket of the jacket is slightly slanted, has two front pockets with flaps and welted seams, the flaps tuck in nicely if so desired, flaps are silk lined, pockets are lined in dark green drill, there is a change pocket in right hand pocket. Lining is in fantastic shape, no tears at armpits, button holes are in beautiful shape, top button looks to have been replaced at one point. There is a boutonniere hole on the lapel. The arms are constructed with a beautiful curve to them, mimicking the natural way an arm hangs. The waist of the jacket comes in a bit in a flattering way. One vent in the center back, a rather long of vent opening that measures 13.5. Other than the collar damage explained above, the fabric is in beautiful shape. No moth holes, tears or stains. Measures: 20" across, pit to pit 32.5" center back, from bottom of collar to hem 26" sleeve, from shoulder seam to cuff 19" across shoulders Waistcoat: Single-breasted, 5 button, pointed waistcoat.

All original buttons, pristine button holes again, no wear whatsoever, 4 front pockets, the bottom two have a nice slant to them. Black silk on the back, no buckle, lined in ivory colored drill/canvas, with one interior pocket on right breast. No holes, moth holes, tears, stains or wearing. Couldn't ask for it to be in nicer shape. Measures: 19.5" back length, center back, collar to hem 25" front length, from shoulder seam to point of waistcoat 18.5" across, from pit to pit Trousers: With 5 buttons on the fly and pristine button holes, all original suspender buttons on waistband, a "Latch-On" brand metal closure that completes the fly, two "Loopdeloop brand snaps on waistband (to button your shirt in place).

All pockets are lined with heavy drill, 5 pockets on trousers (two on the seam in front, two rear and one hidden pocket under waistband). Button closure on back pockets with nice decorative flaps, really in perfect shape.

No moth holes, tears, stains or repairs that I can see. Just one tiny hole on the inner left leg, about 1/2 from the hem. It is about 1/4 long and does not go through all the way, being covered by the extra fabric of the inside extra fabric.

Measures: 43.5" from top of waistband to hem 33.5" inseam 1.5" extra fabric on hem 34" waist, with another 1.5" extra fabric on waistband 9.5" length of button closure There is also a slight peg to the legs of the trousers. They measure 12" across at the crotch, gradually going down to 8" across at the cuff. Please look closely at the photos as they constitute part of the description. It comes from a pet and smoke free house. The item "True Vintage, 1920s Men's 3 Piece Suit Authentic, Wearable, Black, A Killer" is in sale since Saturday, March 2, 2019.
