They do appear to have been taken in (tacked) 1.5 inches at the waist. In soooooome years, Ive only come across ONE Celanese fabric SUIT and it was an all creme and Double Breasted configuration. To keep it short, Celanese is a man made fiber much like rayon, it tends to breathe like a cotton but has a soft hand like silk. Now period Seersuckers are pretty hard to come by in general, but pop up from time to time Im ok-pretty ratty condition.
